Marina Bay Cruise Centre Singapore (MBCCS) has announced the completion of a 40 million USD upgrade to enhance passenger experience and accommodate the growing cruise travel demand in Asia.
The MBCCS has been completely reorganised to direct passenger flows and manage simultaneous dual mega ship calls through its two current berths, with a new dedicated check-in hall on Level 1 (offering 80 counters and over 500 seats) serving Pier 2 whilst the existing check-in facility on Level 2 will serve Pier 1.

Beyond check-in; the Centre’s new Ground Transport Area (GTA) features widened roadways, increased coach bays and early baggage drop-off facilities, as well as expanded ride-hailing lots, which have been doubled to meet passenger demand. A looped shuttle service available on select cruise days now links Marina South Pier MRT station to the terminal.
A new Advanced Carpark Reservation System now allows parking to be reserved up to 60 days in advance at discount rates, as well as a buggy service to assist passengers with reduced mobility when moving between the GTA and the terminal.
The terminal has also announced a new partnership with a number of preferred third-party providers to offer baggage transfers to all Singapore Hotels as well as Changi airport alongside shuttle services to a range of local attractions, including Gardens by the Bay and Chinatown on select cruise days. MBCCS has also revealed the return of the Cruise-Fly Service for international passengers disembarking in Singapore, which allows travellers to check-in and tag baggage for same-day connecting flights.
Finally, MBCCS has also deployed a new Vehicle Slot Management System that utilises real-time tracking and automated scheduling in order to simplify provision handling and, in turn, minimise congestion. The system coordinates deliveries of essential supplies, enabling mega ships are capable of being fully restocked on schedule.
