Fincantieri has marked the launch of the Seven Seas Prestige™ cruise ship at its Marghera shipyard in Italy.

The vessel is the first of two next-generation cruise ships being constructed for Regent Seven Seas Cruises®. Delivery is scheduled for 2026, with the second ship planned for 2030.

The two companies also recently signed an order for an additional cruise ship, with delivery set for 2033.

Seven Seas Prestige™ has a gross tonnage of 76,550 tons and a length of 257 metres. It will accommodate 822 passengers across 411 suites. The ship includes new types of accommodations, a range of dining options, and services designed for passengers.

It also incorporates environmental technologies aimed at reducing operational impact.

Fincantieri has previously delivered the Seven Seas Explorer® (2016), Seven Seas Splendor® (2020), and Seven Seas Grandeur® (2023), which were built at the Sestri Ponente and Ancona shipyards.
