Supermaritime has announced the appointment of Milan Tevel as the new General Manager of Supermaritime Nederland.
Tevel began his role on 1 January 2026, and succeeds Martien Burger, a longtime force behind Supermaritime’s previous expansion over the last few decades.

After many years of dedicated service, Martien is now handing over his responsibilities as General Manager to Milan. Martien has played a significant role in the growth and development of our organization, and we extend our sincere gratitude for his long-standing commitment and contribution.
In order to ensure a smooth transition; Burger is set to remain with the company until such time as the handover is fully complete.
The company has also announced an expansion of its warehousing capacity by nearly 13,000 m2 with a new-build complex in Vlissingen.
Totalling 12,787 m²; the new space consists of 10,956 m² of warehouse space, 521 m² of office space and 1,310 m² of mezzanine space, and is strategically located to offer strong connections by road, water and rail.
