Crystal has announced that the contract for the construction of its third next-generation ocean ship by Fincantieri has become effective.
The new vessel, which is scheduled for delivery in 2034, is covered by an option exercised in 2024, and reflects Crystal’s ongoing investment in the future of luxury cruising.
Once constructed, the new vessel will join Crystal Grace, currently under construction at Fincantieri’s Marghera shipyard, scheduled to debut in 2028, along with her sister ship arriving in May 2031.
All three ships are intended to represent the latest evolution of Crystal’s approach to service, spacious design and more immersive luxury travel.
The new ship will be capable of accommodating up to 650 guests (based on double occupancy), and will measure approximately 62,000 gross tonnes. It will feature all-veranda suites, including an Owner’s Suite and a range of new categories created in order to meet evolving guest preferences, including solo travellers.
Featuring a wrap-around promenade, the ship will offer open-air venues and outdoor spaces, such as dining terraces and viewing areas.
