Scania will showcase its marine power solutions, electrification technologies and service offering at SMM 2026 in Hamburg, Germany.
The company will exhibit at the maritime trade fair, which takes place from 1–4 September, with a focus on power solutions for a range of marine applications.
Among the products on display will be Scania’s 13-litre DI13 marine engine, which is based on the company’s Super platform. Scania said the engine is designed to improve efficiency, performance and durability, while helping operators reduce fuel consumption, carbon dioxide emissions and operating costs.
Scania will also present its electrification offering, including hybrid power solutions and industrial battery technology. The company said these technologies form part of its strategy to support lower-emission marine operations and can be combined with its combustion engine portfolio to meet different operational requirements.
The company will additionally highlight its service and maintenance offering, including solutions intended to support uptime, operational efficiency and long-term equipment performance.

During the event, Scania will also discuss how automotive technology could support the marine industry’s transition towards zero-emission operations while reducing technical and financial risk.
As part of the SMM seminar programme, Deepak Shekhar, Product Manager for e-mobility solutions at Scania, will speak on Powering sustainable shipping with automotive components. The presentation will take place on Thursday, 3 September, from 14:00 to 14:10 at the Exhibitor Innovation Stage in Hall B5.
